Report: Richest Russians lose $90 bln wealth in 2022

MOSCOW, Dec 30 (PRIME) -- The richest Russians lost more than U.S. $90 billion in 2022, newswire Bloomberg reported Friday.

"Russia’s richest people collectively lose $46.6 billion on February 24... In short order, authorities in the E.U., UK and US target Russia’s “oligarchs” and their companies with sanctions that make it next-to-impossible for the business tycoons to keep control of their assets in the West," the newswire reported.

The names of the businesspeople were not listed, and the calculation principles not disclosed.
